The MTV European Music Awards was hosted last night in Belfast. Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Jessie J, Selena Gomez and Brian May all performed. The show had an interesting variation of glamourous, original, retro and outrageous fashion.
The most talked about was Lady Gaga's ensemble, who wore a dress entirely made out of paper, designed by Paco Robanne. Gaga went home with four awards - Best song, Best Female Artist, Biggest fans, Best video. Gaga said tearfully to the audience after being given her second award: "I knew that this song was very special when I wrote it.This is the single most important song that I've ever written, the single-most important album and until now, the single most important moment."
I adored Heroes star Hayden Panettiere's very pretty and classy Tibi print dress. Hayden had a bit of a fright at the awards - she was interrupted on stage by a naked man much to the amusement of everyone else!
'Do It Like a Dude Singer' Jessie J nominated for Best New Act and Best Push, wore a strapless leopard print dress and wore statement red lipstick.
Selena Gomez, who hosted the awards, changed up her outfits quite a few times. Arriving she wore a beautiful Marchesa dress.
Another favourite was a silky sleeveless yellow blouse and sequined shorts.
